LHM supports a number of native missionaries in various places. We are able to give only a small amount to some of them. We need at least $75.00 to support to a full-time missionary with a family.

Most of our missionaries live in villages in different states, working among backward people. These workers labor in villages where the gospel has not reached. They teach them the word of God and bring them to the knowledge of salvation which God freely gives through faith in Jesus Christ. When a group of people accept Jesus, we arrange to provide regular worship for these new Christians. We have to provide the facilities for such worship. Construction of church buildings becomes necessary in such places.

For most of our workers, public transportation is unavailable. Hence, travel is a major problem. We have provided vehicles such as bicycles and mopeds. Each moped costs about $500.00.
We have men who supervise the work of the native missionaries. One such man, Mr. S. J. P. Vijayakumar, is in charge of the mission fields in Tamilnadu.
